Bio

Suvid is passionate about combining science research and policy to address environmental problems. His research has focused on using machine learning to model systems related to harmful algal blooms, flood risk and microplastic pollution. Beyond research, Suvid enjoys environmental advocacy as a youth eco-ambassador, competition math and public forum debate. He also likes to write poetry and participate in ethics case writing through his school's humanities research team. In his free time, Suvid plays tennis competitively and other sports recreationally with friends and enjoys trying new foods, whether made by himself or by a restaurant.
