Bio

Samvarth is passionate about the intersections of computer science, environmental science and policy. He has been programming for eight years and is extremely passionate about robotics (VEX, FTC), game development (TSA) and machine learning. Aside from technology, Samvarth volunteers at Clean Ocean Action, where he developed the "Socially Saving Species" campaign and organizes beach cleanups. Samvarth is currently elected as the youth lieutenant governor for New Jersey and a national youth advocate for the YMCA. His past research was titled "The Effects of Microplastic Presence in the Diet of Planaria on Memory," and he is currently exploring methods to apply computational models to support his research. In his free time, he loves watching TV shows like Invincible and Avatar: The Last Airbender, playing video games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate or doodling for his YouTube channel "Art By Samvi."
