Bio

Saanvi grew up in California and now lives in India, culminating in an experience of cultural perspectives that shape how she sees the world. An internationally recognized researcher with a strong curiosity for interdisciplinary ideas, she finds mathematics in nearly everything she does, from Carnatic music to dance, and is especially fascinated by its creativity. She enjoys competitive math (like the AMC, AIME and collegiate competitions) while also debating the timeless question of whether math is a science or an art. Beyond math, Saanvi loves immersing herself in music across genres and languages, analyzing both its structure and cultural context. Known for her outgoing personality, she thrives in intellectual communities where she can debate topics ranging from theology and current affairs to mathematical ideas.
