Bio

Lucas is interested in machine learning, math and physics and takes particular joy in unsolved problems at the frontier of knowledge. Lucas enjoys various board games, like chess, Shogi and Go, and does mechanistic interpretation research on engines. At school, Lucas is involved in basketball, the econ team, quiz bowl, Science Olympiad and the Asian Cultural Society. In his free time, he enjoys composing variant sudoku and chess compositions, as well as reading novels in genres like American gothic.
