Eva Estrada
Bio
Eva Estrada is pursuing an associate of general sciences with an engineering pathway. In the past, she has investigated how glyphosate impacts colon cancer–associated bacteria and presented her work at science fairs and university symposiums. Eva has also spoken at multiple space conferences as a representative for STEM organizations, most notably Higher Orbits at AIAA ASCEND. Beyond science, Eva is class president, a student ambassador, cofounder of an AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics) student chapter at her community college and the science club secretary. She also serves on the superintendent's Student Advisory Board. Eva hopes to build a career at the intersection of space and biology through space medicine and astrobiology research fields. In her free time, Eva is an avid reader of mysteries and dystopias and enjoys creative outlets like sewing and music.
