Bio

Ethan Cha is passionate about computer science, data science, and competitive programming. He founded Codificar Inc., a nonprofit that offers free Java, Python, and competitive‐programming instruction, mentoring over 10 middle‐school and elementary-school students and leading his team to first place in the NJ ACSL Division. He co-launched Counterspell Bergen, a regional high school game jam with 50+ participants that was spotlighted by Columbia Engineering Outreach. A Columbia Science Honors Program scholar and Cooper Union linear-algebra summer student, Ethan also competed in USACO Platinum contests and captains his JV tennis team while training on a competitive youth rock-climbing squad. Committed to service, he's volunteered over 700 hours at the Liberty Science Center, MoMath, and Youth Council Fort Lee.
