Ekam is interested in mathematics and machine learning, particularly in projects involving optimization, modeling, and data-driven problem solving. He founded a student-led machine learning club to collaborate on practical ML initiatives. Ekam has participated in various mathematics competitions, notably the AMC and HiMCM. As a passionate chess enthusiast, he has competed in national and international tournaments and established his school's chess club. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and football and volunteers to teach chess and mathematics to underprivileged students, aiming to improve access to quality education.
