Bio

Diya is an avid programmer and researcher, with a strong inclination toward the fields of mechanical engineering, applied computer science, and biomedicine. She loves using her knowledge to innovate novel solutions to societal issues, and presents her work at research competitions such as science fair and JSHS. Other than science, Diya is passionate about philosophy, policy, and social sciences. She is a writer and a member of her school's Lincoln Douglas debate team. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with kids, playing basketball, and hanging out with friends.
