Bio

Divya is passionate about scuba diving, economics, and environmental science --- more specifically, the intersection of environmental science and economics through a blue economy lens. She is an active member of her school's Blue Planet Initiative club, where she works with others to promote ocean pollution awareness. Outside the classroom, Divya is involved in Model United Nations, where she enjoys engaging with her peers through debates on various topics. She also loves participating in marine conservation dives and has volunteered with Marine Stewards, a nonprofit organization that focuses on measuring the growth and rehabilitation of coral reefs off the coast of Singapore. In her spare time, Divya also loves listening to a wide selection of music, including R&B and Pop music.
