Bio
Christopher Gilbert is interested in a wide range of subjects: physics, mathematics, computer science, music and philosophy. He is the award-winning author of a book called Quantum Mechanics for Kids: A Humorous, Easy-to-Read, Math-Free Book on a Very Perplexing Subject, which he wrote at the age of twelve, and he's given talks to share his awe of the workings of the universe with others. He is a World Science Scholar alumnus, and has taken online classes with Brian Greene and Stephen Wolfram. He plays the pipe organ and piano, and he sings tenor in the Psalterium Institute Chamber Choir. He has composed over a dozen finished pieces, ranging from a grand fantasia for the organ to a contrapuntal andante for a string quartet. He enjoys learning about physics and getting completely engrossed in a math or computer science project.
