Kemal Aziz
Bio
Kemal Aziz is a rising senior at Staten Island Technical High School and is highly interested in condensed matter physics. As a sophomore, he won a $10,500 second-place scholarship award at the Quality of Life INNOVATIONS competition for his research on the diffusion of particulate matter pollution in the atmosphere. Currently, he is working on a research study concerning magnetic phase transitions and adiabatic demagnetization at Brooklyn College. Kemal has reached the final round of the New York City Science and Engineering Fair and the Greater New York Mathematics Fair in recognition of this study. He also enjoys playing competitive tennis, and hopes to play college tennis.
