Bio
Eric Ye is a rising senior from Arizona at BASIS Scottsdale. He enjoys reading and learning new things, particularly math and physics. At school, Eric has encountered advanced mathematics, like category theory (where he realized that extensive pondering actually does make one's head hurt), and modern physics, like quantum physics (where he learned that he probably should have learned linear algebra first). He prefers computer programming and is interested in pursuing a career in data science or informatics. He is currently undertaking an internship at a bioinformatics startup, focusing on genomics. In his free time, he reads (probably too much), exercises (too little) and guiltily delights in anime.
