Bio
Seo Hyun "Lina" Lim is deeply interested and enormously passionate about computer science, engineering, robotics and mathematics. She is a rising senior at Korea International School in South Korea, and she has taught herself various languages such as C, C++ and Processing. Having been chosen as one of the 14 fortunate members to attend the MIT Seminar for Robotics & Engineering at her school, she realized the deep passion she had for computer science and engineering. As a junior, she was chosen to receive the award for academic excellence. She is currently the president of the Math Competition Club and is also one of the first members of Naver Khan Academy translators and translates math videos from English to Korean. Other than her studies, she loves listening to music, knitting, translating (English, Korean and French) and chatting with her friends during her free time. During her upcoming senior year, she is planning a two-day coding event at her school—KIS ANONYMOUS: Hackathon—providing the opportunity for the whole school to approach computer science and programming more easily and equally.
