Bio

Marco Franco is a rising junior at La Salle Academy in Providence, Rhode Island. Aside from dedicating himself to his studies, Marco is fascinated with mathematics and computer science, particularly number theory and artificial intelligence. To supplement his love of technology, he has taught himself Java, a skill he utilized in his school’s FIRST Robotics team, and he follows online computer science courses offered by top universities. Marco enjoys public speaking and studies rhetoric, and he participates in Debate Club and Mock Trial. Furthermore, Marco volunteers his time through Best Buddies, which is an outreach program for mentally disabled students, and practices Olympic lifting to stay in shape. Marco hopes to pursue a career in artificial intelligence in the future.
