Kathryn Tsai is from New Jersey. In addition to programming, her interests include math, science, economics, history, writing, and art. She serves as an officer in several academic and community service organizations. She also enjoys playing tennis, piano, and cello.
Project: Positive and Negative Externalities
In microeconomics, externalities are the non-price related costs or benefits to a society caused by a firm producing a good. This Demonstration is an investigatory tool to explore the graphs of positive and negative externalities. In the simplified economy of the Demonstration, the properties of the graphs, such as elasticity, are manipulated.
