Bio
Hello, my name is Alec Nelson and I am a rising senior at the Mathematics and Science High School at Clover Hill in Midlothian, Virginia. Ever since I was little I enjoyed taking things apart, which I now find I enjoy on the level of subatomic physics. I enjoy reading and playing cello in the highest orchestra in my school, and in my free time I tinker around with Mathematica and learn languages, currently Swedish and German. I am the president of my ACS Chem Club and the captain of my high school quizbowl team. Currently, I work in an automotive shop repairing and refurbishing Porsches, and they have become a passion of mine. As a British citizen, I also enjoy committing to hours in front of the television watching great shows like Top Gear and Doctor Who.
