Bio

Zachary Schafer is a rising senior at The Bronx High School of Science. He is currently the stage manager of the theater department at his school. Zach also enjoys computer games and Magic: The Gathering. He is the president of the photography club, and he is excited to meet many new people.

Project: Des Encryption

My project was a simulation of a previously predominant encryption algorithm, DES, which was highly influential in the development of modern cryptography. It is a block cipher that encrypts in groups of 64 bits.
