Bio

Robert Aburustum is a rising junior at the Dwight-Englewood School in New Jersey. He is the head programmer for his school's FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team as well as a head of the programming club. In April of 2017, the team attended the world championship in St. Louis, where they ranked 33rd in the world; they were also ranked a top-5 team on the East Coast. Outside of robotics, Robert enjoys competing in math competitions through his school's math team, as well as learning to program in languages such as Java and Haskell. In his free time, he often finds himself reading or playing video games with friends. Robert looks forward to taking advanced math and programming courses in the future, such as multivariable calculus and nonlinear dynamics at school.
