Bio

A rising senior at Rukmini Devi Public School in Delhi, India, Saarthak has been fascinated by astrophysics and computer science for as long as he can remember. He learned to program in C++ at the age of eight while toying around with operating systems and open-source software, without realizing that the term “programming” even existed. Today, when he is not seen typing furiously at the computer for a new project or solving some problem, he can be found marveling at the night sky with his small telescope, poring over some obscure book, or hunting for intriguing trivia. In addition to programming and math, he enjoys reading, participating in quizzes, writing both prose and poetry, and learning new languages (human languages too!). At school, he has been involved with many clubs and societies, including the computer club, the tech club, the knowledge club, and the literary society, all while spending copious amounts of time in the library, trying to get better at everything. In short, a nerd through and through!
