Tate Allen is an undergraduate senior at Arizona State University, majoring in mathematics. His primary interests are in commutative algebra, with additional intrigue in graph theory, number theory, and mathematical cryptography. While he has a brief background in electrical engineering, Tate’s main focus is on proof-based math. In the future, he aspires to pursue a PhD in mathematics, with a research focus on commutative ring theory or closely related subjects. In his free time, Tate enjoys playing the cello, reading, and visiting his local cat café.
