Sergio Quiroga Sandoval

Bio

Sergio Quiroga Sandoval is a fourth-year BSc Pure Mathematics student double majoring in Computer Science at the National University of Colombia. He is passionate about creating new knowledge and has a deep interest in topology, abstract algebra, mathematical logic, and pure mathematics. Additionally, he is deeply committed to advancing technology, He has been involved in research projects on machine learning and quantum computing focusing on probabilistic quantum machine learning and density estimation. During his studies, Sergio has developed a strong enthusiasm for studying functors that connect different branches of mathematics, recognizing the limits of mathematical models, understanding the boundaries of computation and machine learning, and grasping the inner structure of space. In his free time, he enjoys playing classical guitar, chess, and go, as well as painting and reading philosophy. Always eager to explore the intersections of his diverse interests, Sergio embodies a commitment to continues learning and intellectual curiosity, and he is dedicated to contributing to the advancement of science.
