Bio

Gabriel is currently pursuing a MSc in Theoretical Physics at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where he earned his BSc degree in Physics last year. His research interests lie in condensed matter, particularly in the study of topological phases of non-Hermitian systems. Most recently he has been fascinated by the study of quantum field theory, and he plans on using it as a framework for his upcoming master’s thesis and later PhD studies. On a personal level, Gabriel loves animals (specially whales and otters) and he is an advocate for veganism. He enjoys traveling, reading, dancing and learning languages.
