Bio

Brian Mboya is a programmer with experience in building applications using Python, Rust and JavaScript. He studied computer science in his undergraduate. He’s interested in many things both in academic and non academic. Some of the fields he likes studying and reading about includes cryptography, number theory, game theory, cognitive and computational neuroscience. An area that he’s particularly fascinated about is the human brain and how it works. His fascination with the brain grew as a result of studying computation in machines. His main area of study is attention and memory. Looking for the synthesis between computation and neural networks. Can working memory, by attentional mechanism, be computable using Turing machines or any other simple program? Aside from the above mentioned, I love poetry and have written a few poems that I think are interesting with focus on the theme of death and consciousness.
