Bio

Passant Abbassi has been a mathematics lecturer assistant at the German University in Cairo, Egypt, since September 2012. She received her master of science in engineering mathematics from Ain Shams University, Egypt. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in engineering mathematics at Ain Shams University. Her main research interests are to mathematically model engineering applications as systems of higher-order linear/nonlinear partial differential equations. Passant has paid abundant attention to expanding her teaching skills. She is very passionate about teaching mathematics. Teaching drives her to go the extra mile. She focuses on developing students’ curiosity, love for learning and confidence to take on the world. This is so her students have the courage to explore and discover their strengths, their passions and their purpose in life.
