Bio

John McNally has a master of education in curriculum and instruction and a bachelor of science in physics, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has taught in the public and private education sectors and is passionate about making modern physics and mathematics concepts accessible to students. John’s current intellectual interests are varied and include application of deep learning systems and methodology to education, thinking about the mathematical foundations of physics, exploring agent-based computational economics and the development of new educational frameworks using “gamification” and engagement through computer systems. John is currently taking steps into the field of data science as a means to try to unify these varied interests.
