Bio

Anousha graduated as a biomedical engineer in 2021 from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan. Her final-year thesis project involved conducting research on potential pathways to achieve gene upregulation for the CXCL10 gene, resulting in a cascade of events leading to a rabies (RABV) infection being cleared out from the CNS. She plans to pursue a master’s degree in biomedical engineering, with a focus on computational aspects of biology. She is particularly interested in bioinformatics, infectious diseases research and immunogenetics. Apart from her academics, she enjoys classic English literature and history and dabbles in creative writing.
