Bio

Michael is a mathematics researcher with a specialization in differential geometric algebra computational algorithms and a wide range of interests, including number theory, aerospace engineering, quantum computing, the foundations of mathematical physics, digital signal processing and music production. Although he has taken many advanced math courses at universities, the differential geometric algebra computational research was done entirely independently and without any assistance from academic institutions. He has been helping to spread geometric algebra as a universal foundation for mathematics and engineering with his free software contributions, which can be found under the alias chakravala. Additional affiliations include AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics) and AMS (American Mathematical Society). He came to the Wolfram Summer School because he recognizes that the Wolfram Physics Project is of scientific interest to the foundations of discrete differential geometry.
