Bio

Andreas studied at the University of Applied Sciences Jena (which he regards as the biggest mistake of his life). First he earned a bachelor of engineering in biotechnology, then a master of science in medical engineering. During his studies, he developed various interests, especially in the field of control theory and in the field of cellular automata. He particularly likes to try to expand concepts that were originally only defined for integer-valued input so that they can be used for any input values. The many inspiring ideas from Stephen Wolfram’s book A New Kind Of Science further opened up fascinating possibilities to combine and expand these interests. After completing the Wolfram Summer School, he would like to continuously expand his skills in order to achieve groundbreaking successes in science as well as in its technological application.
