Bio

Yanal is a mathematician at heart with a passion for modeling and numerical analysis. He is currently working toward a degree, concentrating on both data science and mathematics, at Minerva Schools at Keck Graduate Institute. He has worked on a wide array of projects ranging from exploratory data analysis to deep learning–based solvers for PDEs. His main interests lie in scientific computing, more particularly numerical methods for tackling high-dimensional PDEs. Apart from that, Yanal loves art and reading about art theory and spends the remainder of his time either working on film photography or teaching yoga!
