Bio

Thao obtained her bachelor of international economics and business from the Foreign Trade University, Vietnam, in 2012. She was awarded a Vietnamese master’s scholarship to undertake a master of economics at the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia, in 2015, followed by a master of advanced economics in the following year. This gave Thao the opportunity to study advanced economics and also mathematics and to gain valuable research experience, which she finds exciting and very rewarding. Thao is now a PhD candidate in economics at UQ, where she is undertaking research in economic theory and welfare economics. Thao is very excited about participating in the Wolfram Summer School 2020.
