Bio

Swastik Banerjee is an undergraduate student at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, studying information technology. He is deeply interested in algorithms, computational complexities, cryptography and discrete mathematics, and he would like to pursue research on theoretical computer science in the future. He has been a summer research intern at the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, where he worked on cryptanalysis of block ciphers. In his free time, Swastik can be found trying his hands at competitive programming, solving crypto challenges, playing the sitar or trying to write a song. Coming from a rich cultural background, he is equally passionate about theater, art and poetry.
