Bio

Matt Kafker graduated from the University of Oregon in 2020 with a bachelor of science in physics and mathematics. He will be starting the physics PhD program at the University of Washington in the fall of 2020. At the University of Oregon, Matt conducted computational and experimental research in microbial biophysics. He also conducted research in electromagnetic geophysics. More generally, Matt is interested in computational problem solving in physics, mathematics and biology.
