Bio

Jin Yan is a PhD student at Queen Mary University of London, before which she obtained a MSc in applied mathematics at Imperial College London. Her research focuses on dynamical systems and statistical physics, such as chaos and ergodic theory applied to coupled map lattices and continuous systems that arise in theoretical physics, as well as random systems that lead to anomalous diffusion. Jin has a wide interest in mathematical physics and joined the Wolfram Physics track project in 2020. She enjoys traveling, painting, running, philosophy and cultures.
