Bio

Jairo M. Rojas graduated with a bachelor of science in physics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and is currently a master’s student at IFT-UNESP in a joint program with Perimeter Institute. His current research focuses on biological physics, with a special interest in evolution and emergence. He also has research experience on high-energy physics, both experimental and theoretical, and quantum optics. In his spare time, Jairo likes to swim and play soccer and chess. He also enjoys learning about history, logic and new languages.
