Bio

Said Muñoz Montero studied biotechnology engineering at ITESM Mexico City and received a master of science degree at UNAM Mexico. He has been working in genomic analysis using high-throughput sequencing for different kind of projects (cancer, pathogens, complex diseases, etc.) at the National Institute of Genomic Medicine, Mexico. He has also run a bioinformatics startup, Abraxas Biosystems. He is really enthusiastic about new technologies (especially in biotech) that could have a positive impact on life.

Project Overview

After extracting the facial features using ResNet 101 and feeding its output to some additional layers, an accuracy of 87% was achieved.
