Project: Arbitrary Integer Value CA as Energetic Lattice Analog
This project is an admittedly idiosyncratic first attempt to investigate possible intersections of NKS with the modern Aether theory of Paulo and Alexandra Correa, which, at a very deep level, describes identical Aether energy units composing a lattice and further superimposable into higher-dimensional phase-energy constructs such as ambipolar electric radiation and matter. For the model of a superimposable lattice, we chose 1D cellular automata with arbitrary integer values rather than the usual few-color states, with the aim of representing superimposition of energy units with larger integers. A natural rule space for this construct is composed of binary trees of GCD and LCM functions of source states to produce steps in the CA evolution. I will explore the space of derived rules with differing initial conditions, looking for emergent behavior of Class 3 and Class 4, and analyze any such behavior to discover analogs with the energy constructs described by Aetherometry. As this rule space has not yet been explored, any Class 3 or Class 4 behavior I encounter will prove novel and interesting in its own right.
