Bio

I am currently a sophomore undergraduate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi pursuing computer science engineering. My interests include mathematics and machine learning. Since my childhood, I have been interested in philosophy. I have been learning to play the tabla (an Indian musical instrument) for the past 12 years, and I spend most of my free time either listening to or creating music.

To someday be able to demystify the functioning of the brain has been my childhood dream. The analysis of neural networks and the complexity that arises from very simple structures in the brain is what excites me the most.

Project: Exploring Deep Learning through Analysis of Boltzmann Machines

The objective of the project is to explore the model of deep learning, which is based on stacking up Boltzmann machines for the purpose of facilitating learning. Analysis of how the model behaves as noise is incrementally added will be done to infer the threshold value of noise below which learning is possible through this configuration.
