Ruilin Zhu
Bio
Ruilin's hobbies include music (piano and violin), filming and video editing, and drawing. She is also interested in anything related to birds. Ruilin started playing piano and violin at age four. Among the numerous music awards she has won over the years, the ones that she is most proud of are the second place prize in Division II (ages 13–14) at the Los Angeles International Liszt Piano Competition in 2022 and the third place prize in Division II at the 2023 MTAC State Piano Concerto and Solo Competition. Ruilin is passionate about science and health. Her research project titled "Finding Trends in Psoriasis Research" won an honorable mention in OCSEF (Orange County Science & Engineering Fair) 2023. Ruilin also loves traveling with her family. A big part of her traveling plans is bird watching.
