Bio

Avi is passionate about exploring the intersection between data science, psychology and cognitive science. He is a research intern at Stanford University, focusing on the development of machine learning models to accurately predict anxiety and depression disorders among young adults. At school, Avi is president of the Python club, organizing hackathons and helping to connect students from lower-income communities with student mentors. He also competes in TSA TEAMS, qualifying for the national competition this year. Avi plays piano at festivals and conventions and has received multiple all-state nods, as well as awards at the USOMC. He shares his love for piano with his community by holding concerts for senior homes and children with disabilities. In his free time, Avi likes playing clarinet and reading about sports analytics.
