Bio

Samanthak (Sammy) Thiagarajan is a rising freshman at Bangor High School. He loves math more than life itself, and partially spends his free time doing math problems and learning about new kinds of math, like Multivariable Calculus. In school, he is a member of the math team, went to the State Math Meet, and the American Regional Mathematics League (ARML), in the chess team, competes in the Science Bowl, and plays the saxophone in band and jazz band. In his free time, Sammy likes to read, listen to the Beatles and Queen, play chess, hang out with friends and play video games. In the future, he hopes to get his Doctorate in math at the University of Cambridge in London, and become a mathematics professor, notably the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics.
