Bio

Nikhil Gaddam is a rising senior at Westford Academy in Westford, Massachusetts who is fascinated by math and computer science. He is a self-taught programmer who is proficient in Java, Python and HTML. At his school, he is a member of the programming team as well as the captain of the math team which finished first place in their division of the Massachusetts Math League. He also is a member of the Eastern Massachusetts American Regions Mathematics League (ARML) team. Aside from academics, Nikhil is also extremely passionate about music and has been playing violin since first grade. Currently, he is a violinist at the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra (BYSO) and the New England Conservatory (NEC). Additionally, he has a red belt in Aikido, a Japanese martial art primarily focused on self-defense. At his local dojo, he enjoys helping mentor younger and less experienced students. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports and playing basketball.
