Bio

Taj Gulati is currently a rising sophomore at Governor Thomas Johnson High School. In addition to consistently maintaining a 4.0 GPA, he is an avid participant in several extracurricular activities while attending school, including being the president of the mock trials team, a coder for the robotics team, a math specialist for the academic team, the captain of the math counts team, a participant in the chess club, and a devoted actor in a variety of theatrical productions. From the time he attended middle school Taj has always maintained a good relationship with his teachers and this has afforded him many opportunities, most notably tutoring many of his peers. Including activities related to school, Taj had the privilege of pursuing many activities outside of school, most significantly becoming certified through an online course from Rice University; this course used Python to talk about the fundamentals of coding, algorithmic thinking, and advanced mathematical topics. Taj has also completed an internship developing an app which used geography to connect people within college campuses (using swift). Taj has also always had a love for music and by being exposed through his friends and his own dedication, he plays the guitar. In his free time, Taj loves to spend time out with his friends, play with his dogs, or invest more time in his personal development by going to the gym or meditating.
