Bio

Ivan Galakhov is currently a rising junior in the 2018-2019 year. Ivan moved to the United States from Russia when he was 9 without any knowledge of English, and began coding when he was 11. He currently mainly focuses on web development but enjoys working on the backend much more than on the frontend. In school, Ivan likes to partake in clubs like Science Olympiad. He also holds a software developer position in his school's student union. Besides coding, Ivan enjoys playing various instruments, including guitar and alto saxophone. In the future, Ivan hopes to major in both computer science and mathematics.
