Bio

Oleg Rouvinski is a rising senior at Deutsche Schule in Cali, Colombia, South America. He is interested in pursuing a career in STEM-associated fields, particularly in areas related to chemistry and physics. Oleg comes from three generations of mathematicians, which helped to inspire his interest in math from an early age. Today, in addition to regular classes, he attends math classes at the local public university. In the past, he participated in the CSI summer course at George Washington University as well as at an exchange program in Leipzig, Germany. Being fortunate enough to live in one of the most bio-diverse places on Earth, Oleg loves nature, and joined efforts with other classmates to help protect it by working at a local shelter for wild animals. Oleg speaks Spanish, English, Russian, German and basic Japanese, and in his free time, he loves to travel, snorkel and play computer games. He also enjoys photography.
