Bio

Nicholas Payne is a 17-year-old rising senior from New Hampshire. He has been passionate about mathematics, science and computers since he was young. He is actively involved in his school’s mathematics team and the FTC robotics team, as well as the biotechnology club. In addition, Nicholas started and coordinates the after-school chess program for his school district. In the fall, he plans on taking multivariate calculus as well as several AP courses. Outside of the STEM fields, he is proficient in Latin, plays tenor saxophone in different ensembles throughout the year and is on the varsity Quiz Bowl team for his school. In his spare time, Nicholas enjoys reading and hiking with his dogs.
