Bio

Emily is 17 years old and is currently a rising senior at Shanghai American School Puxi Campus in Shanghai, China. After graduating elementary school, she moved from Korea to China in 2011 and has now lived in Shanghai for around five and a half years. She is an active member of the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society and the Science National Honor Society at her school, and she has continuously cultivated her interest in mathematics and the sciences, especially biology. By learning Mathematica, Emily wants to challenge herself to explore and learn more about the computational world and utilize those skill sets not only in a new field but also in a field she is interested in pursuing as a career. Her other interests include reading, drawing, listening to music and studying new subjects through online resources.
