Omar Medina Rosales

Class of 2021

Omar was born in México in 1997. He has an MSc in advanced (theoretical) physics (Universitat de València, Spain) and a BSc in engineering physics (Universidad de Guanajuato, México). He is beginning to work on his PhD in physics (Universitat de València, Spain) at Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC) as part of the Astroparticle and High Energy Physics (AHEP) Group, studying topics such as flavor symmetry and neutrino physics. He is mainly interested in theoretical particle physics, quantum field theory and mathematical physics. He also studied string theory as an undergraduate.
