Suvadeep Roy

Class of 2022

Suvadeep Roy is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Elementary Particle Theory under the supervision of Prof. Dr. BFL Ward. He is also working as Graduate Research Assistant. Before coming to the US, he was working as a Teaching fellow at Ashoka University. He has completed his Integrated Masters in Theoretical Physics from the Department of Physical Sciences, IISER Kolkata with an MS  Thesis on String theory and AdS/CFT under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Prasanta K Panigrahi and Prof. Dr. Arnab Kundu. His pre-college alma matters are Sarada Vidyapith and Jodhpur Park Boys' School. He was a regular recipient of INSPIRE Fellowship and IOCL Fellowship. Through hard work and dedication, he is trying to understand the Fundamental interactions of the Universe and to progress and evolve his research career with new projects driven by the profound concepts of Physics, mathematical tools, and computational expertise. Apart from this, he has manifold creativity in the fields of Literature, music, and film.  He is also associated with philanthropic activities and service towards society. He is participating in the Wolfram Winter School 2021 in order to contribute significantly towards the development of the understanding of the fundamental theory of the universe.
