John Blakely

Class of 2023

John Blakely is a second year undergraduate at Penn State double majoring in Physics and Astronomy/Astrophysics. John is interested in large scale structure formation, galaxy bias, and structure formation in self-interacting dark matter models. He is currently researching the formation of dark collapsed objects in the Atomic Dark Matter Model. John also plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Astrophysics and/or Cosmology, where he hopes he will be able to continue working with dark matter particle physics and large scale structure formation.
