Alumni

Adiba Shaikh

Class of 2023

Adiba is pursuing a PhD in particle physics at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. She is interested in QCD/strong interaction, focusing her research on the QCD chiral phase transition and heavy flavour in the quark-gluon plasma. She is also excited about conducting experiments and using computational tools to demonstrate physical ideas. Working at the intersection of high-energy (nuclear) physics, computational physics and group theory, she uses the Wolfram Language in her work. Besides her research, she regularly involves in undertaking teaching initiatives for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
